Special Category (Clinical) Data: Health status updates, mental health history, and session notes regarding your psychodynamic, somatic, or integrative work.

Financial Data: Payment references and bank details for session fees.

2. How We Use Your Information

We process your data based on Contractual Necessity and Legitimate Interests to:

Deliver therapy sessions (50 minutes, weekly).

Manage administrative tasks, such as scheduling and processing the session fee.

Ensure your safety by contacting your GP or emergency contact if significant concerns for your wellbeing arise.

3. Confidentiality and its Limits

In accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework, all sessions are confidential. However, we may disclose information to third parties under these specific conditions:

Clinical Supervision: Anonymous discussion of casework with a supervisor to maintain professional standards.

Risk of Harm: If there is a serious risk of harm to yourself, others, children, or vulnerable adults.

Legal Duty: Requirements involving court orders, terrorism, money laundering, or human trafficking.

Crisis Management: Contacting emergency services or your GP if you are in crisis.

Security: Session notes and personal details are stored securely in accordance with GDPR 2018.

Retention: Clinical records are typically held for 7 years following the conclusion of therapy to meet professional and legal obligations.
